Oeko-Tex 100 Class I standard tests for harmful substances in textile products produced for babies and small children up to the age of 3. It is the strictest standards in the Oeko-Tex testing program. Fossflakes’ Baby Skies newborn mattress topper is easy to maintain. It is machine washable at temperatures 60°C and can be tumble-dried at a low setting <60°C. Even with repeated machine washing and drying, Fossflakes remains hypoallergenic and microbe-free. Fossflakes will not lump or change its excellent properties in any way. It is also recommended that you do an occasional tumble dry at low setting <60°C (irrespective of washing) in order to maintain its natural volume.
